Penang Trip with friends =)

LIFE in UUM was quite bored when you never involve yourself in any events such as AIESEC, MPP, ENACTUS and so on. Well, sem 4's life seems to be quite boring and meaningless for me, therefore me and few of my friends planned to go to Penang just to rest our mind. Living in such a stressful condition in UUM, we are surrounded by assignments, quizzes, exams, presentation and so on everyday which makes our life more hectic compared to others. A short trip to Penang will just leave us with no worries even just for one or two days.

We departed on 4.30 pm last Thursday after all our class had ended.  Travelling from UUM to Penang Island just took us 2 hours and we safely reach the hotel by 6:30 pm. After 15 minutes of resting time, we headed to the famous Tom Yam stall in Raja Uda but unfortunately the food stall did not open. Guess we should do more survey before any trips next time. =( But we manage to find other famous food stalls which are quite crowded, and we had our dinner there. =) After our dinner, we planned to go for Autocity Juru. Autocity Juru was a place fulled with restaurants, shopping stalls, handmade stuffs and so on. We had a great time there and bought a lot of things=)

Second day of the trip, we went for our favorite dim sum which was located at Raja Uda also. After that, we went to Penang Island for the Penang Wall Art which was located in Georgetown and also Chew Jetty, one of the famous travel hotspot in Penang =) We had a great time there and really enjoyed taking photos with all the wall street art. Before ended our memorable trip, we headed to Straits Quay also. We love Snoopy so much therefore we went to the one and only Charlie Brown's Cafe in Straits Quay. We really enjoyed throughout the trips and this trip also tightens our friendship among each other’s.

Before ended my post, here are some pictures throughout the trips=)

Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic is leaving his mark with beautiful wall painting of children all across historical Georgetown. The artworks are funny, fascinating, and very much open to everyone’s interpretations.

No matter how bad your life may seem in the moment, it will always get better=)
